March is the month when many parts of the United States begin to wake up after a long winter. My favorite part of March is first the ice melting and then seeing the flowers blooming in the fields. Of course, there may still be some snow in the northern states, but this time of year is mostly sunny.

In early spring, during peak season, you can get some good deals on warmth for less money, so I guess it's a win-win! Here are my favorite places to explore since my trip in March.

The diversity of climates and landscapes in the United States is breathtaking. Considering that March is a time of global change, this epic list of the best places to visit in the United States in March is quite diverse. Beautiful blooming flowers, northern lights, vast deserts and snow-capped mountains are waiting for you.

Best places to visit in the US in March

1.Na PaliCoast, Hawaii

Everyone knows that Hawaii is the place to go for summer vacation in the United States. Yet many people haven't heard of the Na Pali Coast, Kauai's 17 miles of beautiful beaches that offer spring at its best in March.

You can expect an average temperature of 79°C on land and 75°F in water; so going to the beach will be one of your favorite things to do while you're there. Booking a Na Pali Coast boat tour is a must when you plan a trip to Hawaii. Vacations are spent admiring the beautiful scenery and visiting the most popular attractions, including Waimea Canyon State Park, Koki State Park, Kalalau Lookout, Wailua Falls, and the Avaawapuhi Trail.

Important thing I need to do

  • To see the island from a different perspective, take a helicopter ride and see the beach view.
  • Kayak around Hanalei Bay and watch the sunset while enjoying a delicious meal.
  • Feel the excitement as you zipline through the untouched forest.

2. AntelopeValley California Poppy Preserve

For something truly awe-inspiring, I recommend hitting the dirt road through Southern California's Antelope Canyon, where the poppies are covered in red and orange flames. Eight miles of trails wind through beautiful flowers.

Of course, I cannot predict the main conditions and weather conditions that affect poppy plants, but they bloom for about 10 weeks from February to May and about three weeks from March to April.

In a good harvest year, this is a beautiful and unforgettable sight, but I recommend checking out the Antelope Canyon Preserve website as you can get new fabric paper over the flowers.

Important thing I need to do

  • Take stunning photos of vibrant, beautiful blooming poppies.
  • Take a break and relax with a walk along the path through beautiful flowers.
  • See an exhibit of botanical watercolors at the Jane S. Pinheiro Interpretive Center.

3. Fairbanks, Alaska

Fairbanks is one of the best places to see the Northern Lights in Alaska, and March is the best month to see them! As the days get longer and the temperatures cool down, now is the perfect time to get outside and enjoy one of the many things to do in Fairbanks. (For those traveling from elsewhere, don't be surprised if it still feels like late winter when the weather warms up, as midday temperatures in March are around 35 degrees!) Flights and services are cheaper, too. This is another reason why March is the best month in Fairbanks in the winter and early spring.

Another great thing about visiting Fairbanks this month is watching the World Ice Arts Championships. It is unlike any other art competition because it includes the best artists in the world. It was a real show.

Important thing Ineed to do

  • Enjoy the Northern Lights or night activities of the Aurora Tour.
  • Warm up in the outdoor pool surrounded by fresh, fluffy snow at Chena Hot Springs. Be sure to see the sculptures created by artists from around the world at the

4. Golden Islands in Georgia

The Golden Isles are four beautiful islands between Savannah, Georgia and Jacksonville, Florida. Large swamp islands are a constant in the landscape.

The islands are a melting pot of cultures and that's why I love it! During this month, the winds blow gently and the sun shines; It's the perfect time to get outside and explore nature before the weather gets hot and crowded.

I recommend walking through shady forests, having a picnic on the beach and watching the sun set over the horizon - bliss!

Get out into nature and see leatherback turtles and many species of birds and dolphins, or relax and enjoy shopping in Pier Village or quaint Redfern Enjoy delicious food in the village.

For vintage Victorian architecture and unique shopping and dining, I recommend visiting historic downtown Brunswick, where brownstone buildings and bright colors give an old-school feel.

Important thing I need to do

  • St. with 129 steps. Simons Island Lighthouse, which offers beautiful views of the coast.
  • Visit Driftwood Beach on Jekyll Island and enjoy colorful skies at sunset.
  • Golf enthusiasts, spend a day at Sea Island Golf Club and enjoy our champion 18-hole course.
  • Alternatively, consider driving to nearby Tybee Island and enjoy a relaxing and beautiful vacation at one of the most popular of the many beautiful and beautiful Tybee Island hotels.

5. Saguaro National Park, Arizona

Saguaro National Park is known for its iconic giant saguaro cacti, which can reach heights of 70 feet, but the average height is around 40 feet. Walking among these giants is a unique and wonderful experience, especially as the sun sets below the horizon. To enjoy the beauty of the cactus forest, I recommend hiking to Valley Lookout, which offers beautiful panoramic views of the cactus.

If you really want to get in, I also recommend the Mica Landscape Loop, which takes you right into the middle of the gorgeous plants!

This month all the beautiful flowers are blooming, adding color to the desert landscape. You'll also see ancient petroglyphs and an array of wild animals, from bobcats to venomous Gila monsters; I recommend giving both a wide berth!

Note that the park covers approximately 100,000 acres and is bisected by the city of Tucson, where the best cactus activity is to the west.

Important thing I need to do

  • Explore a variety of cacti along the winding Cactus Garden Trail at the Visitor Center.
  • Take an Instagramworthy photo next to the tallest cactus you'll ever see on one of the many trails.
  • Head to Rincon Mountain for a spectacular view of a unique cactus face.
